Amy Schumer Confirms Split from Spouse of Seven Years
Entertainer Amy Schumer has revealed that she and her husband, chef Chris Fischer are divorcing post a seven-year partnership.
The renowned comedian said in a social media post on recently, paired with an image of them riding public transit, that they had made the "tough choice" to split and will continue to focus on caring for their six-year-old son.
"Peaceful, filled with love and mutual respect! Family forever," she wrote.
The 44-year-old Schumer and 45-year-old Fischer, tied the knot in February 2018 and had their son a year later.

Schumer also joked in the Instagram post that the split is unrelated to her shedding pounds and not on account of Fischer being a "acclaimed culinary expert who can still turn heads".
