In November 2018, Steve Bannon, previously a top aide to Donald Trump, visited the UK preparing for a address at the Oxford Union.

The event was disrupted by numerous protesters, and Bannon, who was due to travel that evening, informed Jeffrey Epstein in an email: "Protesters delayed speech don't think I can catch the flight we r enroute to heathrow".

Epstein responded: "There. Is a Gulf Air departing at 950 with a stop in Bahrain". Bannon replied: "U r an amazing helper".

These exchanges were published on Wednesday alongside over 20,000 pages from the records of Epstein, the late convicted sex offender.

The release by the House oversight committee contains an text conversation where Bannon's identity is withheld. Media outlets managed to confirm his involvement by matching the timeline, occurrences, and places referenced.

For example, Epstein talks about arranging a jet from Scotland for the redacted user in the messages, and commends their "address at Oxford". Bannon participated in the News Xchange conference on 14 November, and delivered the speech at the Oxford Union two days later.

Bannon, who faces no allegations of any wrongdoing, declined to comment on the request for comment.

'I'll make sure you're well looked after'

Bannon was one of Trump's key aides in the lead-up to the presidential election and in the early days of his first administration, but stepped down from the administration in August 2017.

He has admitted he was making a film about Epstein prior to his death and allegedly has around 15 hours of recordings. In a live taping of his show earlier this year, he said: "We're going to publish the film, the multi-part documentary, in the coming year - early next year."

But the recently disclosed documents indicate Bannon's relationship with Epstein extended than documenting his life, with the convicted paedophile at times seeming to act like a personal assistant.

A few days prior to the exchange in which Epstein seemed to booked a charter jet for Bannon, Epstein remarked: "how does it feel to have the most highly paid booking agent in the world ".

Bannon expressed gratitude: "U r quite capable assistant", to which Epstein responded "Therapies. Excluded".

Discussing a visit to "AD" in another message, Epstein assured Bannon: "I'll make sure you're well looked after."

UK Politics Mentioned in Exchanges

The released communications also show Bannon and Epstein discussing British political matters in that year.

On the same day his address at the Oxford Union, Bannon messaged Epstein: "I became involved in the EU exit thing this day with Nigel, Boris and Mogg."

Then, in what seems like a allusion to Theresa May, the embattled UK prime minister at the period, he continued: "The guys are trying to proceed. May soon…"

Epstein advised Bannon: "In my view remaining as long as you can in the UK. Best-- so people see the commitment of your follow through."

Shortly after, Epstein inquired: "Will Theresa may survive". Bannon replied: "I don't see how however the guys over here have no balls" and noted "Boris ; Michael Gove; Rees Mogg; Davis - someone has to take charge".

May was eventually toppled in 2019 after surviving multiple attempts of lack of support in late 2018.

A spokesman for the political party informed media: "Nigel Farage has never been in a meeting with Bannon, Jacob Rees Mogg and Johnson." And there is nothing to suggest such a meeting took place.

The Congress will vote next week on whether the Department of Justice should release all its files related to its probe into Epstein, who passed away in jail in that year.

Interest in Epstein's associations with influential individuals was reignited this week after the publication of over 20,000 pages from his archives.

Some of those referenced the former president, who has repeatedly rejected any impropriety. The president was a acquaintance of Epstein's for years, but claims they fell out in the early 2000s, a couple of years prior to Epstein was initially charged.
